As part of its ongoing efforts to promote self-employment and economic dignity, Global Muslim Charitable Organization has distributed sewing machines among educated but underprivileged women in Bagerhat.
The goal of this initiative is simple and powerful: to help women become self-reliant, support their families, and build a stable future through their own skills and hard work. Many of these women have the ability and motivation to work, but lack the basic tools needed to start earning an income. By providing sewing machines, we are giving them a practical opportunity to start home-based tailoring work and small businesses.
This project is not just about distributing equipment. It is about restoring confidence, creating opportunity, and opening doors to long-term independence. Each sewing machine represents a chance for a woman to stand on her own feet and contribute to her family and community with dignity.
We sincerely thank all our donors and supporters who made this initiative possible. With your continued support, we hope to expand this program to more areas and help more women move towards a better, more secure life.
