Darul Quran Nuria Madrasa and Orphanage is one of the oldest religious educational institutions in Bangladesh. The eminent scholar of the Indian subcontinent, Mohammad Ullah (1895-198), who is well known as Hafizji Huzur, started the journey of this institution under his auspices.

Since the establishment of Darul Quran Nuria Madrasa and Orphanage, educationists from this area and different areas have started coming to receive religious education. Many scholars / Hafez Qur’an have been developed through teaching by experienced teachers in each class. Hafez gained the status of Qur’an by memorizing the Holy Qur’an every year from this institution. Those who perform Tarabeeh prayers at different mosques during the holy month of Ramadan.

At present, Madrasa has advance Muktab kindergarten, Hifzul Quran, Alim course and Adult Education System. The institution has more than 150 students and more than 10 teachers and employees in the residential system. So that the monthly expenditure is around BDT. 250,000 / –

Most of this expenditures per month come from zakat and sadaqa donations. At present, the curriculum of the institution is being restructured to include Bengali, Math, English, History and computer along with full scope religious education. A student will be able to develop himself in the future by being educated in modern education as well as religious studies.

The monthly expenditure of the institution which include the cost of food, teachers, staff and other maintenance expenses has increased due to current economic conditions. The pandemic has left us with many Yatim and Miskin students coupled with the high cost of food and shelter has left us struggling to make ends meet.

Education is a fundamental right children deserve, yet across the world 263 million young children are not in school. With your help, we can provide them the tools needed to learn.

Estimates currently suggest there are at least 263 million children around the world who are not in any kind of education. That is roughly 61 million primary school children, 60 million lower secondary school children and 142 million upper secondary school children who are missing out on the fundamental right to education.

A lack of education significantly reduces the future prospect of each child as they simply do not have the qualification or knowledge to better their position.

Alongside that however they also miss out on creating lasting social connections and basic skills that we take for granted.

In many places, the schools that are there exist without boundary walls, bathrooms, drinking water or even classroom furniture. The children that do attend are forced to study in open places that are often dangerous; resulting in parents not wanting their children to go.

With your help, we can help turn these poor students’ lives around and provide children with a safe, functional and welcoming school. Our ‘Adopt A School’ project helps fill the gap by providing the missing facilities many of these schools need.

Every donation you make, no matter how big or small, will ensure each school has proper walls and classrooms as well as safe drinking water, washrooms and desks.

Since 2018, we have helped construct 2 Islamic education center across Bangladesh; helping almost 250 children enjoy the gift of education every single day.

It is not a cheap to renovate existing buildings or in many cases completely construct a school. On average, it costs around $10,000 to fully construct and complete the facility so every penny you can spare will help hundreds of children receive the education they deserve
